Ireland to offer up to $92,000 to those wishing to renovate houses on its islands

June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Ireland has announced a project to revive more than 20 "idyllic" islands located off its west coast, including Ynys Mawr, as well as 10 Irish-speaking Gaeltacht islands, ABC.AZ reports, referring to CNN.

Increased grants of up to €84,000 (almost $92,000) will soon be offered to people who want to repair empty or abandoned houses and then live in them, and specialists in vacant houses are currently engaged in identifying suitable real estate.

However, those wishing to move to the Irish islands should know that, although there are no restrictions on who can buy property in Ireland, owning a house does not guarantee the right to live there.
