August 23, Fineko/abc.az. During the negotiations, Azerbaijani Agrarco LLC and the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan touched upon the cultivation and processing of nuts in Uzbekistan

ABC.AZ reports that the parties signed a memorandum on the joint cultivation of hazelnuts.

“They also discussed the prospects for the exchange of experience and sending experts to Azerbaijan who will be trained in the field of growing hazelnuts. The meeting was necessary to get acquainted with the experience in the cultivation of nuts, its processing and the development of horticulture,” the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The issues of promotion and development of ties between the two countries in the field of agriculture were also discussed.
