August 24, Fineko/abc.az. Preparations are underway for the cotton harvest in Azerbaijan's Agjabadi.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Agjabadi State Center for Agrarian Development that in 2023, cotton was grown in the region on 3,770 hectares of Azercotton LLC, 4,392.4 hectares - MKT Production Commerce LLC, 2,400 hectares of P-Aqro LLC, 930.3 hectares under a contract with other companies on an area of 11,492.7 hectares.

To obtain high yields on the sown areas, the rules of agrotechnical cultivation were consistently and correctly observed, inter-row crops were carried out in a timely manner, measures for the chemical control of weeds and pests were provided, the plants were provided with mineral fertilizers and irrigation water at the optimum time in accordance with the requirements.

The result was a good harvest. And this means that the harvest will be plentiful.
