August 29, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, 664,921.7 tons of potatoes were harvested from an area of 32,665 hectares in Azerbaijan.

According to calculations made on the basis of the report of the State Statistics Committee, the volume of this indicator is 1.8% or 12,000 tons less than in the same period last year, ABC.AZ reports citing APA.

In January-July last year, 676,984 tons were harvested from an area of 34,762 hectares.

The biggest portion of the potato crops were harvested in the reporting period in Jalilabad (161,500 tons), Shamkir (143,750 tons) and Tovuz (136,055 tons).
