September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Another 13 Russian enterprises for the production of livestock products, located in the Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Ryazan, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Leningrad regions, as well as Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, confirmed the right to export supplies to Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that the decision was made based on the results of face-to-face and video inspections by specialists of the National Institute of Food Safety of Azerbaijan.
"Currently, the Azerbaijani side is planning video inspections of more than 40 Russian enterprises that previously supplied their goods to the republic," the Institute says.
In connection with the entry into force of the Law on Food Safety #523, export of products from previously certified enterprises without examination by specialists of the competent authority of Azerbaijan is allowed until December 31, 2023.
At that, enterprises that have passed inspection, but have not concluded an agreement with the National Institute of Food Safety of Azerbaijan or do not comply with its conditions, may be restricted in export deliveries earlier than the specified date until all requirements are fulfilled.
Rosselkhoznadzor has repeatedly brought to the attention of enterprises information about the need to undergo inspections, as well as that such inspections are carried out by the Institute on a fee basis.
In accordance with the legislation of Azerbaijan, the payment can be made by the exporter himself, or by the importer of the company in Azerbaijan.
