Croatia to deal only with transit of Ukrainian grain

September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic said that his country intends to deal exclusively with the transit of Ukrainian grain, but will not import it, as this may damage the agriculture of the republic.

ABC.AZ reports that the Croatian PM separately pointed out that this position was brought to the attention of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and all relevant ministers.

"Croatia's position and desire is to be a transit country, not a country where a huge amount of cheaper grain will come from Ukraine. In this case, our agricultural producers will face problems," Tanjug agency quoted Plenkovich as saying.
