September 20, Fineko/abc.az. The inflation in the UK in August decreased to 6.7% in annual terms versus 6.8% in July.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the report of the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The inflation rate has slowed down in the country primarily due to decrease in growth rate of food and accommodation prices.

According to TV channel Sky News, inflation figures in the UK were lower than economists had expected.
