September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Our country exported more than 438,500 tons of fruits and vegetables for $435 million for the past 8 months.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee that compared with Jan-Aug 2022, the value of exports grew by 7.4% and the volume by 13.5%.

Compared with July 2023, export value of fruits and vegetables in August decreased by 22.7% or $38.4 million, and the volume by 20.9% or 38,000 tons.

Over Jan-Aug 2023, the share of fruits and vegetables in Azerbaijan's total exports made up 1.8% and in non-oil exports - 19.84%.
