September 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2023, 1,343,700 foreigners and stateless persons from 183 countries arrived in Azerbaijan (33.8% more against Jan-Aug 2022).

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Border Service that 31.7% of those who arrived are citizens of the Russian Federation, 17.7% - Türkiye, 7.5% - Iran, 4.9% - India, 4.7% - Georgia, 4.4% - Saudi Arabia, 2.6% -Kazakhstan, 2.4% - Pakistan, 2.1% - UAE, 1.8% - Uzbekistan, 1.6% - Israel, 1.5% each-Kuwait and Ukraine, 1.4% - Belarus, 1.2% - Turkmenistan, 1.1% - Great Britain, 11.9% - other countries. Males made up 69.9% of arrivals and females - 30.1%.
