September 22, Fineko/abc.az. The life insurance market in Azerbaijan has grown 2.4-fold for the past 8 months of 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Central Bank’s statistical data for Jan-Aug 2023.

The insurance companies gathered AZN 377.36 million as part of life insurance. The insurance compensation payments amounted to AZN 194.49 million (38% less against Jan-Aug 2022).

AZN 355.74 million accounted for accumulative life insurance and AZN 18.08 million for death insurance.

AZN 618.9 million of premiums were paid on voluntary insurance.
