September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced 1,113.7 tons of tobacco for the past 8 months, ABC.AZ informs with reference to State Statistics Committee’s report.

Compared with Jan-Aug 2022, tobacco production declined by 1,927.7 tons, or by 63.4% (2.7-fold).

Over Jan-Aug 2022, this figure was 3,041.4 tons.

As of 1 September 2023, the stocks of finished products totaled 598.9 tons. It is also 400 tons or 40% less against Jan-Aug 2022.

As of 1 September 2022, stocks of finished products reached 998.9 tons.
