September 28, Fineko/abc.az. A total of 23 agroparks (21 private and 2 state-owned) have passed state registration in Azerbaijan this year, and 59 economic entities received resident status, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones (under the Ministry of Economy).

"In order to form a value chain, increase efficiency and determine the legal basis for the functioning of agricultural parks, the Model Regulation on Agricultural Parks has been approved by the presidential decree from December 21, 2021. In accord with this provision, the process of official registration of agricultural parks has begun," the Agency says.
