September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and China discussed resumption of direct flights between the cities.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rashad Nabiyev wrote about this in his account on social network X.

"During our visit to China, we met with representatives of the leading airlines and the tourism sector of this country. The opening of direct flights between the cities of the two countries was discussed, it was emphasized that the increase in the frequency of destinations and flights contributes to the development of tourist ties,” the minister said.

Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) once operated flights to Beijing, the capital of China, as well as to the city of Urumqi.
