October 2, Fineko/abc.az. Preparatory work has begun for the return to Khankendi.

ABC.AZ reports that Rovshan Rzayev, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees & IDPs, informed about this at a meeting with IDPs from Khojali and Khankendi temporarily residing in Goranboy district.

The meeting was attended by Khojali Executive Power’s head Shahmar Usubov, representatives of the communities of IDPs, intellectuals, public activists.

Large-scale projects are being implemented in the occupation-liberated territories, destroyed towns and villages are being restored, the necessary infrastructure is being built to ensure comfortable living of the population, all measures are being taken to ensure the voluntary, safe and dignified return of IDPs to their homeland.

Committee’s chairman spoke about the preparatory work for the effective organization of the Great Return to Khojali and Khankendi, as well as to other occupation-liberated territories, about president’s instructions, listened to the opinions of the meeting participants, answered their questions.
