October 2, Fineko/abc.az. The unemployment rate in the eurozone fell to 6.4% in August.

This is stated in Eurostat’s recently-published unemployment data for August in the eurozone, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press. According to the data, the unemployment rate in the EU, cleared of seasonal impacts, was 5.9% in August, compared with 6% in July.

Last August, the unemployment rate in the eurozone was 6.7%, and in the EU - 6.1%.
