October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The State will determine the risks of a sharp rise and decline in prices.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the Bill on State Reserves (1st reading), considered at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

Under the Bill, State’s tasks, relating to state reserves, activities of governmental bodies are determined. The tasks of the state in the field of state reserves are as follows:

- determining the list of strategically important goods, the risks of a sharp rise and decline in prices from angle of the situation of providing the consumer market with these goods;

- ensuring the supply of strategic resources and emergency resources within Azerbaijan’s civil defense measures, as well as selection of suppliers;

- monitor strategically important goods (including goods provided by market participants).
