October 3, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter of 2023, Tesla produced 430,000 cars and sold 435,000 — mostly Model 3.

ABC.AZ reports that sales of Tesla electric vehicles in the 3rd quarter decreased by 6.7% versus Q2, but increased by 27% against last year.

In the 2nd quarter, Elon Musk's company sold more than 466,000 cars. It was a record period for Tesla: quarterly sales grew by 83% year-on-year.

The quarterly decline in sales was the first for it in more than a year. The company explained it with "previously planned interruptions in the operation of plants necessary for their reconfiguration".
