October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The list of countries with the largest earnings from diamond mining has been published, ABC.AZ reports with reference to World of Statistics.

According to WoS study, Botswana earned the most from diamond mining. It took the 1st place with income of $4.975 million. Russia holds the 2nd place and Angola – 3rd position.

We present the countries that received the most revenue from diamond mining:

Botswana - $4.975 million

Russia - $3.553 million

Angola - $1.965 million

Canada - $1.877 million

South Africa – $1.538 million

Namibia - $1.234 million

Zimbabwe - $424 million

Lesotho - $314 million

Sierra Leone - $143 million

Tanzania – $110 million

DRC - $65 million

Brazil – $30 million

Liberia - $18 million

Central African Republic – $15 million
