October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The rating of countries with the largest reserves of natural gas in the world has been compiled.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant list was prepared by World of Statistics. According to the study, the largest reserves of natural gas are located in Russia. The natural gas reserves of the northern neighbor amount to 47.798 bn sq km.

We present the list of other countries with the largest reserves of natural gas:

Iran: 33.98 bn sq km

Qatar: 23.87 bn sq km

Saudi Arabia: 15.9 bn sq km

USA: 13.167 bn sq km

Turkmenistan: 11.326 bn sq km

China: 6.654 bn sq km

UAE: 6.088 bn sq km

Nigeria: 5.748 bn sq km

Venezuela: 5.663 bn sq km
