October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Sales of new homes in the Netherlands have plummeted.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that sales of new homes in the Netherlands in the 2nd quarter fell by 56.2% versus Q2 of 2022.

This is the biggest decline since the start of housing sales statistics in 2015.

CBS economist Frank Notten explained the reduction to the local press by the fact that there were fewer licenses in municipalities due to shortage of personnel.

He added that during issuance of licenses in the country, strict rules regarding the reduction of nitrogen emissions created the basis for reduction.
