October 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has always been a supporter of peace and the author of peace initiatives in the region.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

"Based on the principle of solving regional issues with direct participation of the countries of the region, Azerbaijan has put forward a 3+3 cooperation format. At present, historical conditions have been created for normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, the signing of a peace treaty and transformation of the South Caucasus region into space of peace and cooperation," President Aliyev said.
