Plan: Up to 100,000 migrants to return to their native lands in next 3 years

October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The return of up to 100,000 migrants to their native lands is planned in the next 3 years.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

He added that the Program of Great Return to the liberated territories is among the national priorities of the country.

President Ilham Aliyev brought to attention that as part of successful implementation of the program, the return of displaced persons to the cities of Lachin, Fuzuli, the villages of Agali, Zabukh and Talish has been ensured to date: "In the next three years, up to 100,000 displaced persons are planned to return to their native lands. The ongoing projects will serve not only the revival of the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, sustainable settlement, but also create favorable conditions for transformation of these territories into a highly developed region."
