October 16, Fineko/abc.az. The commandant has been appointed to the city of Khankendi.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the relevant order, Police Major General Sardar Safarov was appointed the commandant of the city of Khankendi.

During the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Khankendi, Safarov presented a report to the president.
Earlier Safarov was the deputy head of the Baku Main Police Department. The last time he was appointed head of the Main Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in January of this year.
