November 15, Fineko/abc.az. The total farm production reached 10 billion manats for Jan-Sept 2023, including crop production for 5.457 billion manats and animal husbandry for 4.539 billion manats.

Nut growing occupied an important place among agricultural products. In terms of export potential, nuts took the first place in terms of yield.

ABC.AZ reports that Azad Jafarli, the head of the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, said about this during his speech at international conference “Increasing the potential of hazelnuts: innovative approaches to increasing yields, quality and export volumes”.

He noted that last year the country received foreign currency for $110.6 million from hazelnut export.
