November 22, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on health insurance have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Oct 2023 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to AZN 103.276 million (AZN 7.5 million, or 7.8% more versus Jan-Oct 2022 – AZN 95.764 million).

These types of insurance payments amounted to AZN 63.662 million (AZN 1.946 million, or 3.2% more than a year earlier – AZN 61.716 million).

And the loss rate for the reported term was 61.6%. The unprofitability index decreased by 2.8% during this year. The loss rate was 64.4% for the 2022 same term.
