November 23, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on personal insurance have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank, for Jan-Oct 2023 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to AZN 112.818 million (AZN 9.922 million, or 9.6% more versus Jan-Oct 2022 - AZN 102.896 million.

Compensation payments on this type of insurance amounted to AZN 64.126 million (AZN 1.907 million, or 3.1% more than a year earlier – AZN 79.612 million).

And the harmfulness index for the reported term was 56.8%. The loss rate has decreased by 3.6% this year. The loss rate was 60.5% for Jan-Oct 2022.
