November 24, Fineko/abc.az. Air transport insurance premiums have decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Sept 2023 the premiums on this type of insurance reached  AZN 19.267 million mantas (2.9 million manats or 9.4% less versus Jan-Sept 2022 – 21.276 million manats.

Compensations on this type of insurance were paid for only 17,000 manats (41,000 manats or 3.4-fold less than last year – 58,000 manats.

The loss for Jan-Sept 2023 was 0.1%. It is also 0.2% less than year-on-year. The loss for the same period of last year was 0.3%.
