November 27, Fineko/abc.az. Cars of some foreign brands released in 2023 are being blocked in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that according to sources, speech is about Renault, Mercedes and BMW cars imported into the country by parallel import.

Because of sanctions, manufacturers who left Russia stopped officially supporting the software. Cars are imported into the country through unofficial channels and the firmware shows errors during the verification of security codes.

Representatives of various dealers refute this information and claim that such errors are caused by negligence during Russification.
