November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Intelligent Transport Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is developing a navigation mobile application that will allow drivers to learn in advance about traffic jams, accidents and repair work on the roads of Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that work is underway to compile a high-precision three-dimensional electronic map for the application.

Specialists in geographic information systems from the UK and Türkiye are involved in the process of implementing the project, surveys were carried out on an area of 6,235 km in the city of Baku. Cartographic data will allow citizens to learn about repair work, accidents and traffic jams on specific sections of highways.

The app is scheduled to launch next year.
