ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s general director Farid Osmanov said about this at training "Payment Security & Cybersecurity", organized jointly by the Central Bank and Visa.

He noted that compared with last year, non-cash payments have doubled.

"This suggests that people now prefer cashless payments. The interest in such payments contributes to growth of digitalization in the country. Naturally, digitalization also carries risks. So, the capture of basic information by scammers causes problems. In this regard, we cooperate with law enforcement agencies. Also, the Central Bank regularly develops social videos and broadcasts them. The support of the media in this direction is also undeniable, thanks to you, information can reach people faster, and people can be more insured against the trap of fraud," Osmanov said.
