European Central Bank: Artificial intelligence affects wages, not jobs

15:59 - 29.11.2023

November 29, Fineko/abc.az. A study published by the European Central Bank says that rapid introduction of artificial intelligence will lead to lower wages, not job losses.

ABC.AZ reports that ECB’s study on increase in the share of employment in sectors where AI is used has shown that low- and medium-skilled jobs were largely unaffected.

On the other hand, it was noted that AI has "neutral or somewhat negative impact" on profits, and these effects may be amplified.
