December 1, Fineko/abc.az. The wealth of Russia's richest businessmen has increased by $38.575 billion since early 2023, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, published by Bloomberg, which, in particular, is calculated on the basis of the value of company shares.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, since the beginning of the year, Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov has earned $9.14 billion, his fortune has increased to $24.5 billion.

The fortune of Andrey Melnichenko, co-founder of Eurochem and SUEK, increased by $4.03 billion to $17.2 billion.

At that, former vice president of Lukoil, Leonid Fedun, earned $3.89 billion, his fortune is $9.76 billion.

Suleiman Kerimov, a member of the Federation Council from the Republic of Dagestan and an entrepreneur, suffered the greatest losses, his fortune decreased by $650 million to $8.34 billion. Kerimov did not respond to Bloomberg's requests for comment on his total capital.

Since March 2012, the agency has been publishing the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which includes information about the condition of the 500 richest people on the planet.
