December 4, Fineko/abc.az. On November 13, a 1962 Ferrari 330 LM/250 GTO by Scaglietti was sold for $51.7 million at RM Sotheby's auction in New York.

ABC.AZ reports that the antique racing car was the most expensive Ferrari ever sold at auction and the most expensive car sold publicly in 2023.

Top 5 of the most expensive cars sold at auctions in 2023 includes:

1. Ferrari 330 LM/250 GTO (made in 1962), sold on November 13 for $51.7 million.

2. Ferrari 412P Berlinetta (made in 1967), sold on August 17 for $30.2 million.

3. Mercedes Formula 1, sold on November 17 for $18.8 million

4. Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider (made in 1962), sold on March 2 for $18 million.

5. Ferrari 250 LM (made in 1964), sold on July 5 for $17 million.

Of the 10 cars sold publicly at the highest prices, seven were Ferraris, including the Ferrari 312 PB (made in 1972), sold for €12 million at RM Sotheby's auction on May 19. Also auctioned were a  Jaguar XKSS (made in 1957) for $13.2 million on August 18 and a  Bugatti Chiron Profilée (made in 2022) for €9.7 million on January 31.
