Two-way traffic organized in another district of Baku

December 4, Fineko/abc.az. Two-way traffic has been organized at the intersection of Samad Vurgun Street with Shamsi Badalbeyli and Fuzuli streets in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), the organization continues to work to reduce the traffic load on the streets, minimize conflict points on the roads of the capital and increase the level of security. The next infrastructure project has been implemented at the intersection of Samad Vurgun Street with Fuzuli and Shamsi Badalbeyli Streets. Changes have been made to the organization of traffic in the area.

As part of the ongoing work, traffic was provided straight and to the left along Fuzuli Street in a lane allowing only left-hand traffic, with a change in the size of the U-turn, ramps were built to ensure comfortable and safe pedestrian movement, appropriate signs were installed on the territory and marking lines were laid.

It is expected that as a result of the infrastructure project, the capacity of Fuzuli Street will increase to 30%.
