December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan does not seek to be a member of the European Union in the concept of foreign policy. This is a very pragmatic approach, because we will never be accepted. The reason is also obvious.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this at conference "Karabakh: Returning Home after 30 Years. Achievements & Challenges" held at the ADA University on December 6.

The head of state noted: "We live in the real world, not the virtual one. If Azerbaijan is not accepted there, why are we knocking on this door and disturbing the owner of the house? On the other hand, why should we embarrass ourselves? We are not striving for this, we are going through the establishment of cooperation and relations."
