Deputy Minister: Hundreds of jobs to be created in liberated lands

December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Creation of hundreds of jobs is expected in the occupation-liberated territories, Deputy Minister of Labor & Social Protection Anar Aliyev said, when delivering speech at a conference in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the deputy minister, it is important to build social infrastructure in these territories and stable employment for people returning there: "As the entire infrastructure there is completely destroyed. All this poses serious challenges for the country in terms of providing employment to the population. I believe Azerbaijan is successfully coping with all the challenges, and the work done is a vivid example of this."

Drawing attention to the close participation of the Ministry in the process, Anar Aliyev stressed that work is being organized with people returning to the liberated territories, and assessment of employment opportunities is underway:

"Priority is given to those who have a specialty and profession, as well as people with history of employment. Attention is also paid to the professional training tool. We regularly study the labor market. Today, there is a need to increase the prestige of vocational education in society. The interest of young people in this area should increase."
