December 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is planning to include some prescription medicines for outpatient treatment in the insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, said this at a briefing on the report and strategic goals of the SACMI.

"In the first year, we aim to include drugs for diseases of the cardiovascular system in the insurance, in the second year - for the digestive system, in the following year – for respiratory diseases. It is planned to conclude contracts with pharmacies to provide citizens with medicines. The list of medicines will also be prepared, which is a complex of medicines subject to insurance for outpatient treatment," Aliyev said.
