December 14, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance has purchased 100 new ambulances since the beginning of the year.

ABC.AZ reports that Agency’s chairman of board Zaur Aliyev said about this during the presentation of Agency's annual report.

He added that ambulances will be distributed among medical institutions.

Aliyev added that after the introduction of compulsory medical insurance in the country, a total of 349 ambulances were purchased: "Before the introduction of compulsory medical insurance, the fleet of ambulances met demand only by 40%, now this figure has increased to 64%."
