Innovation in medical care for cancer patients to be made next year

December 14, Fineko/abc.az. At the beginning of next year, there will be innovations regarding the provision of services to cancer patients within the framework of compulsory medical insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, said this at a briefing on the reporting and strategic goals of the State Agency.

He added that discussions with experts have been held in this direction.

Agency’s chairman said that starting from next year, bone marrow transplantation is planned at Yeni Clinic:

"Doctors have been sent to Türkiye for training, and after completing their training they will return and participate in the provision of this service. There is a serious demand from citizens in this regard."
