December 18, Fineko/abc.az. The work plan for 2024 envisages the optimization of secondary schools.

ABC.AZ reports that Eshgi Bagirov, the head of the State Agency for Preschool & General Education, said about this.

He noted that some schools will be merged or liquidated, and some will be transferred from a comprehensive secondary school to a full secondary school.

"Similar steps have been taken this year. We stopped admitting elementary students to a number of schools, admission was held only in high schools. In particular, in connection with the Great Return Program, this applies to schools where internally displaced persons study," Bagirov said.
