January 7, Fineko/abc.az. The minimum wage in Azerbaijan may be exempt from taxes, ABC.AZ reports, quoting MP Vugar Bayramov.

He noted that in this regard, new proposals have been prepared and submitted for discussion at MIlli Majlis.

The MP added that introduction of new rules will allow avoiding the taxation of wages of citizens receiving the minimum wage.

The MP noted that another feature of this is that the amount of tax will also decrease for citizens who receive average monthly salary, which will eventually lead to increase in wages.
