January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The application of a multisectoral economic strategy will create 372,375 new jobs in Baku within the Master Plan. Innovative and sustainable sectors of the economy have been identified, which in the long term will reduce dependence on the oil and gas sector.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Baku City Master Plan until 2040.

In accord with the national programs on economic diversification, a phased approach is proposed within the new concept of the urban economy. The established industries, which will continue to form the basis of Baku's economy, must be consolidated and modernized.
