President Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Greek counterpart

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani President expressed his condolences to President Prokopis Pavlopoulos of Greece in connection with the numerous victims of forest fires.

"I am deeply saddened by the news of numerous human victims and wounded as a result of forest fires raging in the suburbs of Athens," the message of the President of Azerbaijan says.

President Aliyev expressed his deep condolences and words of sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the wounded.

According to the latest data, the strong forest fires that broke out in Greece led to the death of 74 people.
