February 1, Fineko/abc.az. In Kelbajar, the Istisu recreational & wellness complex (founded last summer and under construction currently) will be able to receive thousands of tourists every month.

ABC.AZ reports that the Istisu complex, the construction of which is planned on an area of 34 hectares, will be able to receive up to 300 people daily. In addition to the wellness & rehabilitation center, 10 cottages are to be built in the complex.

Back in Soviet times, 50,000 tourists a year rested and were treated here. And now this potential is increasing even more.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Agil Mammadov said that the sanatorium, which completely fell into disrepair during the occupation, will be rebuilt and will return to its former glory.

It should be noted that in Kelbajar, a sanatorium of the same name was established around the spring of the famous Istisu mineral water in 1928.
