February 12, Fineko/abc.az. In recent days, the weather in the country has been mostly without precipitation and hot, out of season.

ABC.AZ reports that aAccording to agriculture expert Mir sahib Zakiyev, warm weather in the winter months has negative effect on yields:

"The warm weather leads to the fact that fruit trees bloom quickly. But the frost, which suddenly falls, can destroy the sprouted plants. And plants that die and rot cannot grow in the spring."

The expert also noted that abnormally warm weather also harms grain farming. So, this creates conditions for an increase in the number of harmful bacteria and rodents, which in turn is one of the factors provoking a decrease in yield.
