Growth observed on housing prices in Antalya — 55,000 Russians left the country

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, about 55,000 Russian citizens with a residence permit left Türkiye, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Turkish newspaper Sözcü.

The article notes that last year the number of foreigners permanently residing in the Turkish city of Antalya decreased by 40,000 people.

Sözcü informs with reference to the data of the Turkish migration service that in recent years, a sharp influx of foreigners to Antalya has led to an increase in housing prices and rents.

Russians are now migrating en masse to Serbia and the UAE. Arsen Ayupov, president of the Association of Russian-Turkish Dialogue, told Vedomosti that there are three main reasons why Russians leave Turkey. Firstly, after the start of the special military operation, many people were unable to adapt to the country and returned.
