February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 54,200 marriages and 21,688 divorces in the country during 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with 2022, the number of marriages per 1,000 people of the population dropped from 6.1 to 5.3, and the number of divorces grew from 1.6 to 2.1.
