February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The population of Azerbaijan increased by 53,625 people or 0.5% and reached 10,180,770 people as of January 1, 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 54.5% of the population are urban residents, 45.5% are rural residents, 49.8% are men and 50.2% are women.

The population per sq km in the country was 118 people.
