February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Avtovaz is negotiating on organization of large-scale assembly of Lada cars in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting company’s head Maxim Sokolov.

"We are conducting such negotiations, and right now the delegation of Avtovaz is in Azerbaijan these days. They are looking at the production facilities of our future partners. I hope, I will say so carefully, that in the spring there will be positive news about this region of Avtovaz's presence," Sokolov said.

In the presentation of Avtovaz, presented in January, it was noted that the company plans to launch mass production of its cars in Azerbaijan using the large-node assembly method.
