February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has increased the minimum requirements for retirement of a serviceman, in order to make longer use of the accumulated experience of military personnel.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the president-approved amendments to Laws on the Status of Military Personnel, on approval of the Regulations on Military Service, on Labor Pensions and on Military Duty & Military Service.

In accordance with the amendments, the minimum requirement for retirement of a serviceman is increased from 20 to 25 calendar years in order to make longer the use of the accumulated experience of military personnel, for which the State has spent time and resources.
